Empowering Tomorrow: Beyond High School, Beyond Limits
The Grays Harbor Transition Council’s mission is to ensure that students with disabilities, their families and caregivers, and the school staff who support them have the information and resources they need for a smooth transition from high school to adult life.
Transition Presentations are a great way to introduce students and families to community resources and information that will help them in their transition to life after high school and give them a chance to get their questions answered. During the presentation, representatives from community agencies that are part of the Council give a PowerPoint presentation explaining the community services that are available, provide a folder with brochures and information for people to take home, and answer any questions people may have.
The Council provides presentations in local school districts each year during the months of October, November, and January. School districts can sign up to have a presentation in their district starting September 1st, 2023. We also have a recorded presentation that can be viewed at your convenience below.
